Bromoils can be made from both digital and film negatives.
The bromoil print itself requires wet process silver gelatine paper. There is the alternative of making a similar oil print which requires a contact negative the same size as the final print. The contact negative can also be prepared as a digital negative or a film negative.

As can be seen from the Bromoil & Oil Pigment page of the web site, the process is not simple.
On the workshop we can combine the oil and bromoil processes or do them separately.
It is also possible to combine the bromoils and platinum processes to produce platino/bromoil prints.

The objective of this workshop is to give participants the chance to make bromoils with a good range of tones and subtle gradation.
